Back in 2001 we obtained the vehicle for our son who just got his license. Needless to say, he drove the car into the ground. After a new rebuilt engine and transmission, he used the car daily to get to work at Ideal Air, his first full-time job, in Florham Park, NJ

And the night before he leaves for the U.S. Army Basic Training in Fort Jackson, SC in September 2003, some drunk teenage takes out his parked car right in front of our house!

Here are pics of our restored 1974 Ford Maverick, including the QuickTime movie of my son returning from his Army post and seeing the restored vehicle for the first time on Father's Day, June 17, 2007. He had no idea the work was done.
